Our new home! :)

So, as many of you know, Ryan and I have been praying about roadtripping the U.S. this year. A new opportunity to speak with Trades of Hope in 31 different cities has given our dream a reality! As we began planning, we couldn't have been more excited to travel for 9 months, but we weren't sure how we were going to travel and also work and live normally (or at least, somewhat normally). 

We thought about buying an airstream for a while (I begged and begged for that vintagey awesomeness) but after a few airstream visits and a few bumps on Ryan's head, we decided that a 5th wheel would be the smarter of the two! 

We finally found an awesome 5th wheel we loved....and it is also one we can totally re-do and decorate to our style. We know that this trip may turn into something longer and that we may really love living simply.....and so we wanted to make this temporary place a home for us both. We will be posting updates along the way as we tear out floors, re-paint walls, and make this 5th wheel into our dream home. Who would have ever thought! We will be moving into our tiny home this December and are scheduled to blast off from Florida in February 2015. Pray for us....as I am really nervous to move and kind of over the moon excited as well. (I can't stop throwing away all the junk out of my apartment.....there's an addictive quality to getting rid of stuff!)

As the trip gets closer, we will be blogging about the adventures along the way, posting photos of each new place and writing about all of the fun things that happen. As you can imagine, it is going to be an interesting trip as we have never 5th wheeled  before, and we will be doing it all with a puppy and while working full time. I am so excited to take this next step with Ryan and to share it with all of you too!
